Poem Analysis

Hey all you people who didn't seem to understand my poem "Last Night's Words":

Mikayla seemed to "get it". Some of you did not see that it is actually a Hollywood-happily-ever-after story, or at least alludes to the possibility of them working it out. Boy and girl are together, boy and girl have a fight, boy and girl make up.

Here is part of what Mikayla emailed to me about the poem. Her interpretation is right-on:

I like how the first two stanzas are in "I" form, and the last one is in "we" form, it totally ties in the resolution of the fight, like how at first you were so alone and disconnected from each other/the world, and then you come together, and meet at the "middle ground".
Now do you understand it better?
